From District to Design: A Creative Bridge Between Miami and Mallorca

During my recent visit to Miami, I had the chance to explore the vibrant Miami Design District and fully immerse myself in its magic. There, I captured moments and impressions that I’m now excited to share with you—reflections that mirror the vision Bernat Vidal and Mariana Chacón Musselli of Borbalan are bringing to our beloved Distrito 07180, now known as MADD: Mallorca Design District.

This ambitious and challenging project is coming to life thanks to the support of the Ajuntament de Calvià, the tireless work of Jardins de Tramuntana Oficial, the passion of Lourdes Vázquez Cabado, and the dedication of our board of directors, which I have the honor of leading.

It’s truly inspiring to see how the creativity and design energy of Miami are motivating us to rethink and reimagine our spaces. Our goal is to transform 07180 into a place where design, landscaping, community, and shared spaces come together to deliver an experience of international quality.
