Cap Rocat Festival 2025: three nights of classical music in an unforgettable setting

May 20, 2025

From August 1st to 3rd, Mallorca will once again become a cultural meeting point with the fifth edition of the Cap Rocat Festival, organised by the Madina Mayurqa Foundation with the support of Cap Rocat.

Now recognised as one of the most prestigious classical music events of the European summer, the festival takes place in a former military fortress by the sea — today a national monument and award-winning hotel, internationally acclaimed for its architectural restoration.

This year’s edition brings together some of the most celebrated names in the world of classical music:

Pretty Yende –The South African soprano, one of the most magnetic voices of our time, has performed at the Metropolitan Opera, La Scala and the Royal Opera House. She sang at the coronation of King Charles III and recently at the reopening of Notre-Dame de Paris.

Maxim Vengerov –Widely regarded as one of the greatest living violinists, Grammy winner and professor at the Mozarteum and Royal College of Music. He will offer an intimate recital with Evgenia Startseva, a world-class pianist known for her performances at venues such as Royal Albert Hall and Walt Disney Hall.

Anna Netrebko – The opera diva of our time, with a brilliant career on the world’s leading stages and numerous accolades, will star in Verdi’s Nabucco, under the baton of Pablo Mielgo, accompanied by an international cast and the Cap Rocat Festival Choir, created especially for this edition.
