On May 8th, Mallorca became the epicenter of design thanks to MADD Talks.

MADD Talks is one of the initiatives carried out by the non-profit association Mallorca Design District (MAAD), whose president is Gloria Rodriguez, our Managing Partner.

MADD encompasses real estate, construction, interior design, and lifestyle. We take the world of living to another level. During the presentation held at the Kimpton Aysla Hotel in Santa Ponsa, Gloria shared the inspiring journey into the world of design and creativity that we are undertaking.

Our Managing Partner expressed enthusiasm for a project aimed at transforming district 07180 into a vibrant space where the community can enjoy art, culture, and gastronomy, as well as announcing exciting news for 2024.

The event had an outstanding turnout both in quantity and quality, including public institutions, press, business owners, architects, interior designers, developers, and real estate agencies.

Special recognition goes to the excellent work of the event moderator Lourdes Vázquez, manager of the landscaping company Jardins de Tramuntana, and Hada Lopez from the construction company Alibaz.

The stars of the event were two international titans of art and design:

Marcel Wanders and Drew Aaron.

Marcel Wanders, internationally acclaimed for his boundless creativity and innovative approach.

The so-called “Lady Gaga of design” shared his vision and experiences, showcasing his most iconic projects and revealing the process behind his emblematic designs.

Drew Aaron, known for his entrepreneurial vision and passion for contemporary art, shared his multifaceted journey and unique approach to the art world.

Marcel left us with quotes like: “Mallorca is heaven on earth”

His arguments are based on the island being the place that ticks all the boxes. It’s the only place in the world with a mix of stunning landscapes, sea, culture, infrastructure, along with its Mediterranean lifestyle.
